At Marian House, volunteers are needed for a variety of projects and services. Volunteering within the organization for services like tutoring, administrative projects, participation in our Job Readiness Mock Interview Day, and assisting with special events for our women are just a few ways volunteers can get involved. Additionally, outside volunteering is also needed for programs such as our Saturday Supper Sharing Program where we ask for volunteers to prepare dinner and drop it off for the women for weekend meals. Volunteering for a Marian House Committee is also a great way to get involved. Committee’s such as our Race to Embrace Independence 5K Committee or our Mission or Advancement Committees are always looking for talented volunteers.

We recommend that all volunteers attend a Thank You Thursday Breakfast and Tour at our Main Headquarters at 949 Gorsuch Ave., Baltimore, MD 21218. These events are the perfect introduction for potential volunteers as it provides the opportunity to learn more about program, the women and the services Marian House provides. Breakfasts are held the second Thursday of every month.

For more information on volunteering or to attend a Breakfast and Tour, please contact The Advancement Department at 410-467-4246 or at advancement@marianhouse.org.
